What Reiki can do for you and your clients:
1. Creating a deeper holistic experience for your clients
When Reiki is deliberately used during a massage or as a pure Reiki session it makes people feel more relaxed and permits them to drop into a deep state of meditation.
The reason is that Reiki is a self-guided system that “knows where to go.” The energy knows how to go to the cause of the symptom without the practitioner needing to direct it or control it in any way. Allowing this healing energy to go through you and to guide you creates a deeper and more holistic experience for your clients.
2. Encouraging longer relief from worry, anxiety, and stress both for you and your clients
Release of muscular tension and pain is usually achieved with a typical massage. But many massage clients report that the deeper experience and relief they felt during a combined Reiki and massage session lasted for longer and was more noticeable on a physical and emotional level than the usual massage.
3. Clearing energetic blocks
While massage primarily works on the physical body, Reiki works on the emotional and energetic bodies. It is normal for people to have stagnant energy stuck in certain areas in the body. When blending Reiki with massage, a gentle process of bubbling up emotions sometimes occurs that encourages shedding unwanted emotions and clearing energetic blocks.
4. Nourishing YOU during the massage
Tapping into the pure universal energy before and during giving a massage nourishes you as the caregiver. You no longer have to use your own energy and power. This process of aligning with the universal energy and using that energy during the session, not yours, is very harmonizing and balancing for healing practitioners.
5. Taking 5-minute Reiki breaks between sessions allows you to recharge yourself
It is normal for you to feel drained after using deep work and force to help your clients heal. Giving yourself Reiki for 5 minutes between your sessions or during your lunch break is all you need to recharge your internal batteries.
6. Give your Body a Break
Doing session after session can be tough on your physical and mental body. Give yourself the opportuinty to rejuvinate with a pure Reiki session that uses only light touch or no touch at all. 50-80 min of pure relaxation and personal healing as well.
